🛜Bootnodes
Bootnodes are required for peer discovery.
Bootnodes (or Bootstrap Nodes) are used by new participants who want to discover peers on the network.
You need at least one bootstrap node with high availability so that new nodes / operators can join the network. Anyone can run a bootnode, but it's recommended to keep at least one running and operating at high availability.
We usually recommend using the Aggregator node (see Node Operators) as a bootstrap node as well.
